Funny, she doesn't look Blueish

Ah, adventures in parenting.

So I'm puttering around on a little flash fic which I'm now going to have to attend to this evening, when Georgia comes downstairs and dissapears into the powder room with the clothes she picked out for herself to get dressed. A few minutes later I hear "Daddy, come help me" so I get up to find her standing on the toliet to better check herself out in the mirror.

I find she's "made herself pretty" by virtue of doing up her fingernails and eyelids in blue permanent marker. So I rush her upstairs into the bathtub and try and scrub it off. I make progress on her face but the nails are stubborn enough that I end up rushing out the grocery store after waking moonshadowed and getting some nail polish remover. I managed to leave for work on time anyway, but it was a close thing. I only wish I'd taken a picture for blackmail purposes when she becomes a teenager?

Did I mention today was moonshadowed and I's sixteenth wedding anniversary?
