Today is January 12th, which means the first part of the cabañuelas just finished. It is an Hispanic weather forecast method, and according to it, a given year's weather can be forecast by paying attention to the weather in said year's January. Days 1 to 12 correspond each one to a month, January to December; the next days are arranged differently (you can check here for a small explanation in English, or here for a longish one in Spanish).
