Busy, busy, busy

This last days were extremely busy. First, my office was finally moved to the New Building and the net connections aren't working, so no work related emails from work this week -- my inbox is gonna be absolutely cluttered once they fix the problem; but it doesn't suck as much as having to share files (and virus ...) via magnetic storage, and having to interrupt the poor co-worker whose computer has the b/w printer connected.

Second, my sister came home =) because this week was my nephew's last week at school =D. As usual, he had great grades -- he's fourth in the official classes, first in the English ones, third of his group, got his Cambridge's Flyers result, is now green-blue belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, will receive his scholarship again, and is now officially on vacations. He also was extremely sad yesterday, when his mother left again, but is better now.

Third, I've seen my list commenting on the 07/07/07 date, so I have to do the same. Yesterday was my grandfather's 100-birthday anniversary. So he died almost 15 years ago, so what? The (extremely extended) family has been celebrating it, and I finally got the chance to meet the two newest members of the clan, beautiful Fernanda and gorgeous Abril. We also supervised three newspaper articles (two already published, one more to go) about my grandfather -- after all, he's one of the founders of the City AND the State.

Fourth, the past week was the last one for my Econometrics Studies class. I should be killing myself over the paper I have to write for Monday evening (I am, in fact; I just needed to take this break). Fifth, we finally got the Congress 'go ahead' for the kick-ass credit, at work. If things go as they should, by the end of the year we will have prevented the State's biggest city water lines' collapse -- and it only took us 26 months to convince'em to allow us use our money on it.

Sixth, I have hundreds of fics to read. And the second and third Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon books too (but I managed to end both of the Dan Simmons' Illion books). And many fics to write. And a few new bunnies like, for example ... who was the one commenting last week about the differences on crack, parody and humor/comedy? Was it thedeadparrot? Or maybe savemoony? Anyway. It got me thinking about the Dabble in many genres Challenge, and because Wilson was always trying to get into House's room in those, now I have this urge to write them and maybe Cuddy in the famous Cyrano de Bergerac / Roxane / Christian balcony scene.

Yeah.
