I got the free-conference-trip, wohoo! Which means I get to visit Chichen Itza this month (I also do some academic stuff, but Chichen Itza beats everything).

I like this quote: Que ser valiente no salga tan caro, que ser cobarde no valga la pena ~Joaquín Sabina. But local politics still make me sad :(

It is raaaaining again. Which is good, despite the unwelcome wet shoes, because it means the chances for an hurricane hitting here are disminished :D.
