animal thought, prompted by my last entry.
Wouldn't it be great if animals had the sense of mind to know to go to a human vet when they don't feel well? and the ability to get there? i mean, imagine if your pet could just say,
"i don't feel so good. is my nose dry and hot? i think i'm running a fever." or "my lower tummy hurts, and it burns and is hard to pee." and you could take him/her to the vet, like you'd take your child to the doctor.
or if sick homeless urban animals could know to get to the vet, like the ER, if they're really sick. or if a domestic pet whose owner wouldnt/couldn't take them to the vet, could instead open the house/pet store doors to get itself to the vet, or call an ambulance, cab, friend, etc. to come get them.
And if wild animals could make their way to the ranger station they could get treatment arranged, and if it's too injured or otherwise unable to get itself there, it could have the other animals call a message, one at a time like a telegraph line, to get the message to the ranger station.
i guess Yogi did that kind of thing.
Wouldn't it be great if a hungry sun bear who loves people food could let the park ranger know that he'd eaten some campers' leftovers that made his tummy feel REALLY BAD, and they could give him some medicine or whatever operation he needed?
that would be SUCH a cool world.
