God, I sound so pretentious in my welcome message. In real life, I'm not, I swear. If you're reading this is, I imagine it's because I've commented on one of your fics. So, thanks for putting your great work out there - I truly love reading it and seeing how creative other people are. How about I tell you a little more about me so I'm slightly less creepy and stalkery?
Right, so...If I could do anything, all day, for the rest of my life, it would probably be to bake. I love college sports - basketball and especially (American) football. I also enjoy professional baseball and (European) football. I'm a diehard fan - if I support a team, it's life-or-death with me. They make or break my weeks regularly. I love quality tv shows. I have a particular weakness for "dramedies" (worst word ever, btw) like Bones and Castle, but I have wide tastes, including lots of British TV. I love skirts and cute shoes and have a life goal of one day owning a pair of Christian Louboutins. One of my other life goals is to some day get drunk with Pepe Reina, because he is awesome. What else...I live on the East Coast of the US but am ready to move somewhere new (preferably not in this country). I'm in the middle of a quarter life crisis and am about to up and change everything in my life. I am relieved and scared (not scared of the change, but scared that I'm not going to take advantage of this opportunity). Currently, I teach and write (boring things) for a living. I like teaching, but the writing not so much. Editing is another story - I think that's fun (I haven't mentioned that I'm a nerd yet, but, yeah...I'm a nerd.) My body's automatic reaction to any kind of serious emotion is crying, but I far prefer to laugh. Laughing is really my favorite thing in life...except for maybe puppies, chocolate cake, beer, and Fernando Torres. ;-)
