Unsettling day
Long day at work, stuff happened, blah.
Anyways, came home to take some tylenol for my back, and found my bedroom door is wide open. In a rent-by-the-room apt. I always make sure my room is locked and closed before I leave. Never have forgotten before, and don't see how I'd suddenly forget now, as it's like a tic for me.
Immediately, I think "ok, well, there's gotta be an answer for this.
a) somehow I forgot to shut it this morning, which I doubt
b) haverkamp needed access for my room for some reason, but there's no letter saying they came in
2 reasonable possibilities
c) room was broken into for some unknown reason. I dunno how to go with this, as nothing's missing or the like. (the suboptions I don't care for, but still it's there -_-)
c1) roommate a: never home cause he's always out for work or family
c2) roommate b: always working, with his gf, or off doing his own thing
c3) roommate c: been home all day, and even remember closing the door tightly before waking C3 up in the living room.
c4) random person walked in, broke in, left
My options lie with either a or c3. I want to lean towards a, but the fact talking with c3 about it and all he had was a smile on his face when I asked him about it being open, and a couple comments he mentioned leave me awkward about the situation.
It's a minor issue, I guess, just that when I know I have that tic of my door being closed, and coming home to this, I don't feel comfortable.
