The financial slog is about to get worse. Obama's tax cuts announced with the stimulus package this week, will simply be canceled out in the California economy by the tax increases of the recently passed budget. 1 out of every 8 Americans is Californian, so when you're talking economic stimulation that is a factor.
And personally, the financial slog is made through a thick fog comprised of little razor blades that nick you and make you bleed. Ever responsive to the whims of market forces, we bleed at the market, at the pump. Even buying things to wipe our rumps, we take a hit. We bleed there, too.
