It's hard to believe that a Year from now, I'm going to be relating with you on all this.

Well, I already relate to the Saline Solution and daily cleaner (plus I use Supra Clense Protein Remover), and I was trying to figure out how much I would need to bring when I move to Peru, since they don't sell the kind of Solution I like there. I figure 15 of each sounds like a good idea. God this will suck, I am going to have to pick and choose what I bring with me. Maybe I will ship the Contact Stuff to Ems dad before I get there, that way I can bring more stuff in my bags with me. Okay, I'm done jabbering away in your LJ

Oh, it's no problem. I completely relate. And I wouldn't send the saline down there via fedex of mail. One is that the weight on that will cost you out the ass and it may not make it down there, of if it does, a bottle may have ruptured and made the box too soggy to hold together. Ship all the things that are light, but take up a good bit of space. I don't know how it is with going down there, but, to my knowledge, all international flights get to have 2 bags with 75 lbs each per person. So, while it can be heavy, you will be able to take almost as much as you can carry. The way I did it is that I had one bag specifically for clothes and the other was for the other things I needed like saline, any kinds of food I wanted, medicine, etc.

And I don't know how quickly you go through saline, but I'm a bottle a month person myself. over the course of the next year, try to keep a record of how much of each thing you use. It will help when the time comes to stock up.

こんばんわ~ 私も追加させてもらいます :D
That's too bad about your bleach pen. Aren't they also annoying about mailing boxes to US? Whenever I send gifts to someone in US, I just write down random gift names on the paper (though it's only Pocky.) We have to convince them how we aren't bioterrorists :O

私を加えてくださってありがとうございます。

I know. It is the same here. When I send things back, be they presents or some kind of food (Pocky or Topoo), they say to write down everything that I am packing. They also, for some reason, make me write down how much each thing costs and the total value of the box. Very strange. I wonder why they think someone from their own country would want to send something bad back. Especially when it is addressed to family.

I am teaching in Tokyo. At at technical college in East Tokyo for the moment. Finishing up at this company in a month, though. I'm looking for a new job now.

I think you found me through a discussion we had on Metaquotes or Mock the Stupid. I think. Nice to meet you, regardless.

And yes, very crazy rules. American airports especially.
