Merry X-mas eve everyone. Wonder if everyone is anticipating tomorrow or not. Personally, a day of being around screaming children and people that I have to to see as opposed to wanting to see just doesn't sound appealing to me. But, it is just for one day. A few hours at most. A few hours of hell in the Amityvile house. If I don't make it back, don't come here looking for me. You will find my corpse being devoured by ravenous children who will pounce on you and go for your throat and suck every last drop of sanity out of you before consuming your flesh while you sit there with a twitch over your left eye.
In other news, I am planning on going out tonight just in case I don't survive tomorrow. Kind of the last meal of the condemned. Speaking of meals, mum has been off all day and has been in the kitchen cooking for the massive feast tomorrow. Most of yesterday was spent going around to the malls in town getting other things to give back as gifts for friends back in Tokyo. Some t-shirts and other little knick-nacks for some current and former students. On the whole, a pretty good shopping spree. I just hope I have room to take it all back what with all the other crap I have to take as neccesary items.
The food in their smells good. I would volunteer myself for tasting duty, but she would just give me the evil eye and either proceed to stuff me so full of food that I won't be able to move and will probably not want anything tomorrow as I will still be recovering, or just give me just enough to wet my appetite and wanting more to the point where I will end up sneaking into the fridge late tonight to sneak a snack. I can see it now. The great unveiling tomorrow and a loud "Who the hell already went at the turkey, dressing and casseroles?!?!" Followed by many "eat shit and die" looks directed at me and the step-dad. Fear the wrath of mum.
I also introduced step-dad to a nice little program that I use for downloading things. I put eDonkey on his system (which has ADSL internet) so he can download anything he wants. I am in the process of teaching him how to work it while at the same time trying to show him some little tricks to use to make his life easier. And working teaching how to burn CD's in there at the same time. I wonder if he can absorb it all. Here's hoping.
