The cool breeze hit my face hard but glanced off my body, protected by my thick wollen zipper jacket.
As I walked down the steeply sloped path under the cover of dancing shadows, the result of moonlight from a clear starry sky, shinning through the breaks in maple leaf trees as the wind would part them, it occured to me that there is something inexplicably exciting about night time...
Especially cool, windy night time.
Perhaps its because our other senses are more on edge when you can't see as far or because its cold, you get frosty.
Inside a dark room once with a photography teacher when I was 16 in year 10, the teacher turned the lights off and girls started squealing and boys started shoving and the teacher said "what is it about the dark? It just makes people go crazy."
We joked that when she turned the lights on again everyone would be naked.
You feel like something exhilirating is about to happen.
Especially when your walking in an area where you are alone.
I geuss establishments like clubs, raves and dark zone realise this and capitilise on it.
People don't just go out at night cause they work in the day.
They go out at night cause its seemingly more forbidden.
'Your supposed to be in bed!'
Hmmm.
People are different out in the dark.
It can transform you.
I see now how the myth of the werewolf evolved.
Perhaps its none of these things and its just me...
Anyways, just wanted to get that down.
I love nikki,
even more so at night!
