I'm not, nor have I ever been upset about disclaimer requirements. I'm upset about having to friends-lock my posts. Even then, I got caught with my pants down because I forgot to reregister after I hit six a while back. That's also my mistake for which you're not responsible. I know that. The only thing I'm sore about is that I couldn't view the results of a poll on a rule change until I complied with the new rule, which seems kind of counterintuitive to me.
You fixed that. I wanted to see the results, and now I have. I don't see where this second comment fits in.
Anyway, thank you for coming back and explaining things. It takes time and energy that you probably don't need to have to expend and it does mean a lot. To that end, I have always tried to be reasonably contientious in terms of following at least the letter of the law when it came to disclaimers because I know how much it sucks to have to do what you're doing now.
