The opening of this, THE OPENING OF THIS, HOW CAN I EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN THE AMOUNT OF LOVE!

In the late afternoons, when she and Rebekah turn endless cartwheels across the rolling greens, she fancies herself as Elizabeth Bennett. When Kol goads her into throwing pebbles at Elijah and Finn practicing their sword fighting from around the corner of the house, she giggles only the way Marianne Dashwood would. And when Klaus guides her to a secluded corner of the gardens - eyes forward, hands lingering towards hers that lay stiff at her sides: not touching, never touching-and draws her while she tends to the sages Finn seems to have an odd attachment to, she dares to let herself feel like Emma Woodhouse. Worldly, spirited, beautiful.
Just that whole paragraph, I LOVE ALL OF IT. FInn/Sage shout out combined with Austen metaphors, how is that perfection EVEN IN THIS WORLD.

Caroline/Salvatores remain my favourite BFFs in this story, though Rebekah/Caroline are also amazing, I love the idea of them doing cartwheels everywhere together 'cause LOL. And then the hint of betrayal both of them now have, just guh.

I mean the paragraph about Rebekah's looks. It implies so much companionship and I just so need Rebekah to have a girl friend and I so want it to be Caroline so I just have feelings.

I love that you seem to be going with dark Klaroline, because as much as I enjoy fluffiness, I need to see how that plays out for them because I love that edge of darkness. (And you strike the perfect balance for me in your stories between humour and FEELS.)

And the phone call between Rebekah and Caroline ESPECIALLY WHEN IT BECOMES BETWEEN REBEKAH AND STEFAN AND CAROLINE AND DAMON ARE FIGHTING, I LOVE IT! The way you layer scenes is beautiful, and so realistic (I've noticed this a lot in "put down your sword and crown" as well).

I'm so fascinated to see how this is going to play out. I want to see what you're going to do with Todd, and what is up with Caroline and Klaus, and I can't believe you killed Jeremy. I am so excited.

I'm glad you're liking dark!Klaroline :D It's interesting, because I don't do darkness much, so I'm just messing around, finding my niche here. I pretty much have this whole story outlined, I just need to do is write it out. But that's the problem, because when I do I suddenly get all these other ideas and sometimes I stray from them and then I just force myself to be all BITCH CALM YOSELF and make it into a whole other story which was the case for my GG/TVD crossover,

And REBEKAH/CAROLINE! I was so excited when Candice said they're going to have more scenes together. I just - I can't even contain my smiley feels. And so far, you're the only one who's excited about Jeremy dying, so now I'm kind of excited about it too XD
