Ok, earlier this week I watched the last episode of Heroes: Volume One. Here are my thoughts, complete with spoilery goodness. Although I would also like to add that this is really a show that should be seen unspoiled, so if you haven't watched it, don't read on.

Two possibilities, I think.
One is that Hiro froze Sylar while Hiro charged him.
The other? Sylar had seen his own death, thanks to the wonderful Isaac. Maybe he LET it happen.

You said that before. The dreams... well, I don't consider the dreams as things there was supposed to happen exactly. I think they were symbolic. I just wonder who he picked that power up from. His mother, maybe? Maybe that is why she is "in" with Linderman. Charles? His father, who we never met? Someone else?
At any rate. Dreams aside. They kept changing the damned future, because they had knowledge of the future. So I think that the differences between what was "supposed" to happen and what did happen don't matter.
