(no subject)
this week has been so crazy!! but we have a long weekend this week and no basketball practice on monday!! yes!! that means i can go with my church downtown to brown elementary and paint the united states on the walls..haha...i really am going downtown on a service project though ~
WE WON AGAINST SYLACAUGA! the game was awesome! our team really pulled together really well and had fun while we played, which was one of the things that c.b had been wanting us to do for a while now...only 2 more area games before the tournament starts...we better win those!!
ok so i went over to j's after church today and watched the village!! what a letdown!! i knew it wasn't very good just from hearing people talk, but wow ~ i didn't like it at all!! it wasn't scary at all!! and plus it was stupid why the people started the whole "village" in the first place...just to escape sadness?? what a dumb reason! haha
God has really been dealing with me for a while in the area of sacrifice....what sacrifice is, how you are supposed to sacrifice, and what a sacrificial life looks like...it has been really good and i have learned that the rewards for living for God are so much more than we could ever image...we could touch people's lives by living a life for God that we don't even know about! but God always says that He will reward us according to how we lived and that we are earning crowns on earth that will last until heaven....
