there are a plethora of bands right now that make me feel that the music scene is finally making a comeback.

i have learned that while the music of past generations is amazing and can never be forgotten, you have to look forward to the future, and find good things about the current state of music. In all genre's there is something special to be heard.

there were so many good albums that came out in 2006, just to name some (in alphabetical order):
- A.F.I. "Decemberunderground"
- Brand New "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me"
- Breaking Benjamin "Phobia"
- Citizen Cope "Every Waking Moment"
- Cradle of Filth "Thornography"
- The Dresden Dolls "Yes, Virginia"
- The Fray "How to Save A Life"
- Gnarls Barkley "St. Elsewhere"
- Keane "Under the Iron Sea"
- The Mars Volta "Amputechture"
- John Mayer "Continuum"
- Ministry "Rio Grande Blood"
- Muse "Black Holes and Revelations"
- My Chemical Romance "The Black Parade"
- Switchfoot "Oh! Gravity"
- Taking Back Sunday "Louder Now"
- Wolfmother "Wolfmother"
- The Zutons "Tired of Hanging Around"

my favorite is a tie between A.F.I., Brand New, Keane, and Taking Back Sunday.

i'm sure there's more, as well. that's just what i found when i scrolled through my ipod. if you know of any please feel free to list them!

good(day)night. - jerel stephen lane.
