Future career potential

So I was bored after paying a bunch of bills... and feeling rather broke...  I started looking for IT jobs, and actually found something great waiting in my GMail box.  Of all things, a job listing email from career builder.  For some this may sound rather far, but for me, its not so far.  The town of Florence is hiring for an IT technician.  Granted it is about 30 miles away, but almost all of it is by some sort of highway.  I can either take the Hunt Highway to the 87 and head down around that way.  Or I can take the hunt highway the other way.  Which ever way I would go, I'd just be heading to the complete opposite side of the San Tan mountains.  Too bad there's not a tunnel through them hills.

I've been "sprucing" up my resume, in an effort to make it look better, and keeping under control.   I definitly plan on applying for the job.  All I need to do is fax my resume and job application over to them.

The job definitly looks promising.  From the town website, they have around 6000 residents now, but they expect to have 50,000 by 2015 or so.  Getting a job working for a small town wouldn't be such a bad idea, especially if they are prediciting a lot of growth.  Means there should be plenty of opprotunity to move up.    The starting pay isn't bad either. 35.5-46.6 PY depending on experience.  Plus Government jobs have pretty good benefits.    I hope this goes well.
