(no subject)
I get my stitches out tomorrow. WOOHOO!! I know its gonna hurt like hell... but its worth it. I won't have to strap gauze around my foot every morning... no more skin tearing when I stretch my foot out. That will be REALLY nice.
I'm also getting to the point that I can walk maybe 25-30 ft with out any help, before my foot startings screaming at me. This is nice. Lets me feel somewhat normal. Slowly, but surely, I'm getting there. I can't wait for physical therapy. I know that's going to hurt like hell as well, but I look forward to regaining my original range of motion on my foot... atleast most of it. One thing I could really go for though, is the swelling to stop. If the swelling just disappeared when I woke up tomorrow, I'd be one heck of a happy person. I know that won't happen... But I am sure I'll get my Christmas present that I wanted... the ability to walk by xmas. I'm getting close, so hopefully I won't need any assistance by Monday. ..Maybe I can drive by this weekend too! That'd be killer too.
