(no subject)
So here it comes at last. The Italy trip. Or as I like to call it, the Italian job. Anyway, I'm all packed and ready to go, with the exception of my toothbrush which I will pack after a final brush. Keep feeling like I'm forgetting something but that's how I always feel before a trip. Got my passport, got my euros, got my debit cards, got my plane tickets. Everything else is secondary. Oh yes, not forgetting my camera too.
First stop is Venice, and that should be super awesome. I can't believe that my sec3/4 dream to go see Venice is finally coming to fruition. Seems like just yesterday we were all discussing Venice in social studies class, looking at all the nice pictures in the textbook and wondering when we'll ever get to go there. Yowza. I just need to go Switzerland and the Social Studies conquest will be complete heehee.
Then it'll be on to Florence, Rome, Naples and finally Sicily. Hopefully this will be a take it nice and easy, slow-paced trip. Compared to the frenetic pace that was the Eastern Europe trip. Though that was awesome as well. I hope we'll be able to slow it down and properly absorb the culture and the lifestyle instead of madly scrambling from destination to destination. Don't want to be tired out halfway through the trip like I was the last time.
Ok, got like 2.5 hours left to kill. Think it's time for some heroes action hahaha.
