Welp, it's Christmas, and even non-religious chaps like me can get excited by the prospect of receiving gifts I can't afford and don't deserve, WEEEEEEEE!
I hope the rest of you are enjoying your christmas as much as I am, I got the complete Futurama Collection on DvD, which is probably my favorite gift this year, I also got a fuckton of Warhammer 40K figurines (Look it up), as well as Inglourious Basterds on DvD, no Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Volume 2 yet, but maybe someone will get that our a Best Buy gift card for me as a late Christmas gift. (Hint, hint NIK) This is a minor grievance however, as the gifts that I hev received MORE than make up for it's absence.
While I prepared this entry I received a message from Steam saying that my eldest brother Bob had just sent me about 4-5 Star Wars games on Steam as a Christmas present, which was nice of him.
What is Steam you say? Well I'm glad you asked, amorphous internet being, because I would be glad to inform your tiny, ignorant, brain.
Steam is probably the greatest thing that's hit the internet in a long, long time, it's a service which catalogues and allows you to download any game you purchase from it for your computer, at any time, to any computer, allowing me to store my game archive online, instead of in a big pile next to my computer, which is SUPER FUCKING CONVENIENT.
And if I ever want to reinstall my games on a new computer, it's a simple matter of connecting to the steam client, and pressing a button, very easy to use. It also allows you to communicate with friends who have and use the service easily, especially if you wanted to play a game with them on Steam.
I provide links here for convenience, if you play games on your computer, now you will never have to leave your computer to get them... Yaaaaaaay.

http://store.steampowered.com/ Even if you don't play games you can see when I'm at my computer if you want to chat with me, after you've made me a friend on steam.
You can also get a lot of friggin ancient games that they don't sell in stores anymore, not to mention, practically every weekend they have some kind of crazy sale so you can get games for you or your friends on the cheap. I realize this information may have been more prudent before christmas, but fuck you, I didn't think of it then.
In summary, Steam is awesome, happy holidays, tell me what your favorite gift you received was.
Edit: Amusing incident. While trying to find a suitable userpicture of bender on google images I encountered a surprisingly large number of dildos labeled "Sensual Benders." Thought I'd share that with you.
