ahhh, back in school
so the end of my spring break was fun. saturday night david didn't get finished striking until after 1 am, so amanda, david, and i went to hinkles in madison (diner). of course, ive never driven to hinkles before so i was a little lost at first. finally we get to hinkles and i decided i would turn on a different street then turn back around on the street hinkles was on so i could park in front of it (being that it was on the opposite side of the road) so i turned then realized a cop was behind me so i couldnt do a Uturn and get back on the street. so i kept driving, almost turned on one road, then david was like, "I think this is a one way" so i kept going. when i got back on the road it was on, i thought hinkles was a block sooner than it was. so i started to pull over, then realized i was a block early. soooo i got back on the road and kept going... w/ the cop behind me the whole time. SO i finally park in front of hinkles and the cop turns on his lights. he came up to me and did the whole flashlight to my face thing. then he asked, "are you lost?" and i was like, "noooo..." and explained that i was actually just trying to turn so i could park on the same side as hinkles but i got confused because of david. and he was like, "have you been drinking?" and i was like, "nope!" (even if i had been, which i HADN'T, would i REALLY have said yes?) and he asked a bunch of questions about where i lived and if i was in college, etc, etc...then told me, "Okay, just look where you're going... oh yeah, Hinkles is closed."
DUMB!
so we went to walmart and got chicken wings and soda... we didnt get back to hanover until almost 3:30am.
on sunday david, amanda, matt, erin, and i went out for a nice chinese lunch... mmmm!! it was good... but no crab legs:(
went to bed around 10, but there was a mouse in my room, so i woke up at 2:45 and didn't get back to sleep until 5:30. it was pretty nasty. then i guess when my alarm went off, i turned it off and went back to sleep. so i got up around 6:50 and took my time getting to school.
my new car is GREAT!!! it needs some clean up work...painting and interior stuff, but it runs SOOOO well and it's a convertable!! it was NICE driving it home today:) im happy with it. i do miss my melvin though. still don't have a name for this car, though...
school was alright. every class was pretty much easy and enjoyable. after school i went to malinos with nick and we had some pizza and breadsticks. it was a really nice time...just relaxing. that is the first time ive ever gone out and did anything w/ nick w/o a group. it was really nice, it made me happy:)
well...now i need to get on some homework for english and theatre. have a great day everyone--go outside and enjoy the weather!!!!
