hanover

sooo yesterday i cleaned and packed some more...then went out to easter lunch w/ my parents at the international buffet on washington street. it was good food...the best prime rib in my life!! then i drove dave and mike (his roomate) back to hanover where i was suppose to meet my student host person, Amy at the CC. well, she was running late because it was easter and she was with her family. sooo a girl named kristen came and got me. we ate dinner in the underground, then went to wiley, which is her dorm. her room was REALLY NICE! She is an RA so she had a single room and it was nice and decorated with purple and stuff:) so i waited with her for almost 3 1/2 hours...watching The Mummy 2, college basketball (KY lost), and part of Save the Last Dance. Then Amy came. She took me over to her sorority then left for a meeting because she's the president of the sorority. SOOOO i sat for almost 2 1/2 hours ALONE in a place i had never been before, totally uncomfortable. i didn't know where anyone was or where anyTHING was (like...the bathroom!) and it was all around a very sad time. luckily, david called me and asked if I wanted to hang out w/ him, matt, and erin. so i hung out w/ them in crowe for a while, then went back to theta before midnight thinking NO college student goes to sleep before midnight. NO! Amy and her roomate had both returned and went to bed. so i slept in a guest living room in a BIG, comfy bed. when i woke up this morning, there was no sign of amy anywhere...so i left. i attended a business class and talked with a business prof.

my car died... aparently my battery is shit.

now im waiting for dave to get out of rehearsal then ive been invited to eat in the shoebox with davids roomate and his friend, so hopefully david will want to go. i really hope so...i need some GOOD excitement today!!!
