christmas this year
i'm really enjoying
even with the shit weather

only got 8 or 9
but everything's closed
cancelled, delayed
postponed, rescheduled

kevin and erin's last night
they loved the book
i loved to make it
such great people
i'm lucky

and preston
with plotting hands
amazing
what a gift

i hate to wrap gifts
cause i suck at it
but i try
and on occasion
it looks (al)right

but this week
wrapping up the shopping
as the countdown begins

maybe dave can wrap
he takes his time
does it right
looks beautiful

i love him so much
scares me
to think of how careless
i have been
that we almost
wrapped "us" up
in 2007

2008 will be better
we will grow
