Hi, I'm Jake Epstein. And, no. I don't have real live hotel-destroying powers for those of you who're wondering, thankyouverymuch. I'm not bi-polar, either, and my dad doesn't hit me with a belt even though I've gotten really close. :P
.. Aaaaaand you probably didn't understand any of that unless you're a Degrassi-watching psychopath who enjoys the interjection "eh" at the ends of sentences. Also known as the cool accent I share with my fellow cast members. Anywho, I'm rambling so I'll just shut up now.
Uh, I'm from Toronto. REPRESENT. When I was younger I was property of the Disney Channel and all that jazz, but now I basically do small stuff besides my reoccuring role as "Craig Manning" on Degrassi: The Next Generation. That job is so much better than sweeping up a Wal-Mart or working at a video rental place. My character is a real pimpsta, which definitely works for me. Impregnating grade nines? Making out at gay weddings? CRAIG IS SO TOTALLY THERE. I also get to play the guitar and shizzle on the show, which is also fun. It doesn't feel like I've worked a day in my life. Of course, my life's only been eighteen years long so I can't really start complaining until I at least hit twenty. (HI MIRIAM.)
When I'm not on the set, I'm usually jamming with my current band, Funkasaurus Rex. I was previously in a band called Mind the Gap. We had a pimpin' single titled "Cocky" and a hot music video to go with it (I was the lead singer, huzzah), but it didn't end up working out. (To tell the truth, I kind of miss being the star of the show. Now I'm just a lame drummer for Funkasaurus. Poop.)
As for my personal life, there's nothing really Britney and K-Fed going on. Uh .. I dated Lauren Collins in grade eight? She dumped me for reasons we've forgotten by now, but we're cool. (I'm guessing it was her fault, though.) Do I sound interesting? IM me at hola epstein if I sound cool. Which I am, so get to steppin'.
