SUUUUUP.

So as many of you homies may/may not know, I started doing the insanity workout. To be honest with you, I used to not give a fuck about my weight. But, at some point a month ago i decided that i needed to change my lifestyle. I felt like i needed to be healthier.

At first i was really intimidated by the level of intensity of the workout, but i stayed focus and pushed myself past the limits. I'm about 3 weeks into the program, and i enjoy doing it now. I've notice alot more definition in my arms, smaller in the waist (only slightly though, im still fat) and i've lost a significant amount of weight:

Insanity day 1: 274.5 lbs
Insanity day 24: 253.2 lbs
Total weight lost: 21.3 lbs

Goal by the end of the year: 180 lbs.

Whether or not its a realistic goal to do I'm not sure. But I'm doing all i can to reach it. First, i stopped smoking cold turkey. Since i started working out, i'm able to direct any kind of aggression toward tanya in the videos ( I hate her). I started regulating my diet by eating 5 smaller meals in the day. I keep it to 3 meals and 2 snacks. Everything in the diet is either a vegetable, fruit, protein, or whole wheat bread/brown rice. I keep my diet around 2000 calories, try to keep fat as low as possible and try to not consume any sugar unless its natural sugar. As for my drinks I keep it strictly to water or tea. However sometimes i do use a sports drink with the workouts to replenish electrolytes, that's pretty much the extent of my fluids outside of water.

Anyway, I'll probably update this again when i start month 2 of the workouts. But after this who knows, i might try p90x which apparently is a joke compared to insanity. I know for sure that i wanna start lifting weights so i can get hella ripped arms. That's really all i want just hella big arms. Who the fuck needs abs or anything else when you have ripped arms? JK. I'm really trying to lean out and get back into my athletic form from when i played basketball. See ya in a few weeks lj.
