So, I was just watching Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (which was hilarious, as per usual) and for some strange reason I had a nagging feeling that something serious was going down in the celebrity world (I mean besides breaking Michael Jackson news--which, I am frankly sick of). So, I typed in Oh No They Didn't and I come to find out that Panic at the Disco broke up. And, while they didn't technically breakup because Brendon and Spencer are still in the band, Jon and Ryan have left. Of course, I was surprised, but that quickly waned and I'm over it. Over it and actually a little bit excited. Mostly for two reasons. One, I think the band sans Ryan Ross will have much better music (though, I could be completely wrong--only time will tell) and two, Ryan Ross won't ever sing on a PATD CD, which is great because he's has a horrible, horrible voice. So, three cheers for the next Panic at the Disco CD.
[Warning: Pity party for one]
I got out of doing Concerts on the Quad today. I wasn't trying to get out it, but I think I partied too hard for 'Merica's birthday (happy 233rd!) It was all the pizza and Sprite that doomed me, but I think the real clincher was breakfast for dinner and the Key Lime cake chaser on Sunday night. I've had plenty of stomachaches after eating the wrong combinations, but this one really put me out of commission. And, I have to say, for what it felt like, calling it a stomachache is a vast trivialization. The stomach cramps woke me up they were so severe and I was pretty much immobile because any sort of shifting just made it worse. I spent all day trying to expel the gaseous buildup in my stomach and intestines any way possible, but to no avail and this rendered me useless all day. Side effects were lethargy, overactive sweat glands, chills, and decreased walking speeds. And, not only did I feel like shit today, but also many people so nicely pointed out to me that I didn't look so hot. Thus, I went home early. And actually, I am still not feeling so well at 12:45 a.m. What. The. Hell.
[Check please]
Funny thing, though. My dad, who was well aware that I wasn't feeling so hot, suggested that we get pizza for dinner. Uhh, no thanks. But thanks because, I do love pizza. Just not today. Also, this morning, he offered to take me to get a greasy breakfast from a fast food chain. I think my dad is a big believer in the hair of the dog remedy. Past experience, maybe? Possibly. Probably. Most likely.
I don't really have much else to say. All I did today was work on the COPLAC web site (I have a lot more to do, so tomorrow I better get to gettin') and I changed the colors on my Gmail not too long ago. The colors are really bright and kind of, sort of don't match all that well, but I like it. I also did laundry because I was running low on jeans. I usually have a two day rule when it comes to wearing jeans, but I stretched them all to three days this time. I don't really like the three day thing. The second day is always the best because they've been stretched out in all the right places and are really comfortable. A third day, though, is too much because they are way stretched out in all the wrong places and tend to fall down a lot.
"Sorry I annoyed you with my friendship."
