Tick, tick, tick. (PUN.)
Okay, I should REEEEALLY be in bed, because I have school in less than eight seven hours and I really need sleep, but I feel like I need to expound upon the glory that is the 2PM + YOON EUN HYE CASS CF THAT IS ACTUALLY A MINI MUSIC DRAMA again, BECAUSE IT IS BEAUTIFUL. Totally unsubbed, but who cares, BECAUSE IT IS BEAUTIFUL. Updated with subs now, yay!
I'm very biased, in that I LOVE THEM ALL SO VERY, VERY DEARLY and TAEC + YEH gracing the screen at the same time very nearly made me INTERNALLY COMBUST, but I was pretty impressed. It actually looks relatively expensive, with good acting (YAY BOYS), good production values, perhaps some hasty editing, but that's forgivable because of the time-frame they were working with. The twist was rather predictable, but believable, even though I was busy being woobie for Taec at the time (what? I have flaws!).
And I was surprised to find there was actually somewhat more of a story than initially expected, too. Nichkhun is a famous idol star and part-time playboy, Junsu is his manager, and YEH seems to be some sort of general helper/PR person? AND TAEC IS A COP. Well, so is Wooyoung (and he is pretty cute whilst doing so) BUT THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT TAEC IS A HOT COP WHO IS HOT AND BASHES PEOPLE UP AND LOOKS HOT ALL THE WHILE. Anyway, right, the plot! Khun is a playboy, and things keep happening to the girls he hooks up with, so Detective Taec steps in to investigate, and he likes YEH, but she likes Khun, and then LOTS OF THINGS HAPPEN.
ALSO CAPS, which are Unspoilery, if you wish to remain SURPRISED by the TWIST. Ugh, my formatting for the caps is a little off but IDEC.
We start off with the name of the CF subtly fizzing in some CASS BEER, before moving to introduce Playboy!Khun,
subtly filming a CF within the CF, also for CASS BEER.
Then, of course, there's YEH, Junsu, and HOT RUNNING COP TAEC...
...along with a prettily-leathered Wooyoung, who is only around for a little while, because the plot is busy progressing.
YEH strokes sleeping celebrities! Detective Taec detects!
Khun worries quite a bit.
And Taecyeon meets YEH, tries to remain professional, and fails. (I WOULD TOO.)
BLOOD LETTER LOL.
Khun is a wink vending machine, and YEH is emo.
Hell, everyone is emo. (CASS BEER.)
YEH and Khun are first sexy, and then inconspicuous...
AND THEN TWIST! Cue shock and horror.
And not only that, but look! I bring convenient embeddage, for your convenience!
And this actually made me a lot more confident about Taec's upcoming drama, too. He seemed quite comfortable in front of the camera in this drama-type environment, and it's hard to tell just how much was actually scripted, but some of his eye-acting (the technical term) was rather impressive, too.
