Rape and the Sacred Feminine
A friend of mine is doing her doctoral thesis and looking for research participants. Here's the info:
IS THE SACRED FEMININE A PART
OF YOUR SPIRITUAL PRACTICE?
HAS SOME FORM OF THE GODDESS OR SACRED FEMININE (FROM ANY CULTURE) ASSISTED IN YOUR HEALING JOURNEY FROM RAPE?
YOUR EXPERIENCE IS IMPORTANT!
If you are a woman who is at least 18 and who has utilized a feminine face of Spirit, Goddess, Divine Feminine or other spiritual feminine figure, from any culture, to heal from the profound violation of rape, at any time in your process, I’d like to interview you. Rape in any form is appropriate for this study, with the exception of childhood sexual assault. Your experience will be honored, your confidentiality ensured, and an ethical stance maintained throughout the process
My name is Karen Grijalva and I am a doctoral student at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology researching how the Goddess, or any feminine face of the Sacred may mediate healing in rape survivors. I’m seeking participants.
