Well it's been a while I can say that. It's twenty three minutes after noon. June 9th 2009. Things have been up and down as they tend to be over the past years. Lived in a green house in Ferndale with two rooms and a kitchen, two couches and a green chair with wooden arms and frame. A large backyard and a night job hostessing within walking distance. The walk home was my favorite, the peace of the street and hush of the branches around me, soft cool sidewalk easing each step step step til the steps to the once white screen door. The dirt of the porch sweeping into my shoes as I walked through the doorway to the rug which wasn't there. Incense filling the room as the small lights showered a softer gloom into the seats and table where various wrappers from where the briefly seated man rested his feet. Thirty one minutes past noon. Light shining through, matching with warm thoughts of my new love of life and embrace of my lover still lingering on my waist. There is much to be done today, to begin the ideas of the world will come and sweep with me, then the glass as he is iron will me refreshed as well. Six minutes after thirty and time has granted me brief rest for now.
