No Drink-o For Me
I had a very sober Cinco de Mayo. Why?
-Because I don't really drink anymore.
-Because I was a little down and didn't feel like it.
-Because Cinco de Mayo is not a holiday in my eyes.
Whatever the reason, I ended up having a quiet weekend.
Today I went out with my mom and some family friends to lunch. Then I came home and laid out in the sun with my doggy. It was nice to finally have some alone time. I plugged my ears with good music and absorbed the sun's rays, like a plant. After that, I gave Pokey a bath and although she didn't enjoy it, I finally have a clean dog. Maybe now I'll show her some love. Maybe not.
I hope this tranquil weekend spills over into this week. Please, no drama or complications. I want to be able to pull through.
