Title: Before Too Long
Rating: PG
Group/Pairing: Ohno/Nino, Aiba/Jun
Notes: When I read the original story, I thought that while Nino was on the periphery of the main action, he is a check and a catalyst for much of the action. I was also intrigued by his comment to Jun about how he knew that honesty was best, and what experiences might be behind that

I love how you put this is Nino's point of view- I'm not sure what I imagoned for Nino's own experience, but this was absolutely perfect. The same sense of hesitation that Jun was feeling was present with Nino as well, but for entirley different reasons. The dynamic between his and Ohno's relationship was handled beautifully and I like that even though the piece was short, you covered a lot of ground emotionally and nothing felt rushed at all. Nino's struggle to be honest, and finally the confrontation on Ohno's doorstep, especially this line, I'm about two seconds away from throwing up on your floor felt SO Nino it was ridiculous since that seems to be his choice way to relieve tension and just get everything back on even ground again. I love his unexpected remarks!
Oh, Nino's interactions with Sho and how Sho thought Jun was in love with him! I was laughing all through that scene and love how you depicted the friendship throughout the entire piece. Arashi's friendship is something that I love a whole lot, and the underlying current that runs within this fic really expresses that- especially the "no hard feelings" way that Sho shrugs off the revelation that Jun is actually in love with Aiba and joins in on Nino's loving torture of him. There are better ways to help," Sho sighs, but he obediently cards his fingers through Nino's hair, guiding his face in closer to the glittery gold of his crotch. "Normal people ways. Oh, Sho, get over youself you know these "normal people" you speak of do not exist in the world of Arashi.
The moment Nino shares with Aiba at the end of the night after they've all gotten together really speaks to their level of friendship as well. I love how Aiba understands what is happening with Nino and Ohno, and wants him to be happy, but it doesn't feel accusatory when he asks Nino if he isn't going to follow Ohno. He can see Nino struggling and trying to ignore his feelings and wants him to be honest about them.
I just really really loved this and really want you to know that I feel like this was a perfect remix. I'm just going to go ahead and confess my undying love and of and devotion to you, beautiful author (and will definitely do so again once reveals are posted :D)
