Yamapi repeats, and his hand is unconsciously chopping the air in front of him as he lies in bed, regardless of whether Ryo can see him or not.
I do love that part the best. :} That's what friends are for.

"Even though your face looks like a squid's..." Ryo begins, but then Shige looks up at him from behind those glasses with his eyebrow raised and those shiny, pretty eyes, and Ryo freezes, mouth going suddenly dry.

"A squid's," Shige remarks calmly, pen poised in the midst of being intellectual. "Does that mean you want to eat me?"

...Crap, now all I can think of is Ryo being ridiculous and embarrassed, and Shige threatening to leave him for Kame. Because "I've heard that Kamenashi-kun loves squid, ne."

I couldn't stop laughing throughout this whole thing, and I particularly loved "I love...pie." ^^
I loved how Ryo slowly progressed, and even then, it was still true to Ryo's reluctant romantic nature:P

The RyoShige part was covered in the original so I wanted to try doing it from an entirely different angle. I'm glad it was still sweet.
