01: (-2)(+1) = -1
- The nice bright texture actually overpowers the subject, taking away its focus from it.
- Too much going on and too cluttered. The texture is distracting as is the vertical text at the top. The elements just don't fit together.
+Normally I would say the bold text and texture overpower the subject of the icon, but in this case, it really fits the theme and the image.
02: (-2)(+2) = 0
-Though the crop is good, the quality of the icon is not so great. Perhaps if you used a better quality scan for the icon, it would have been much better
- the cropping could have been done more carefully and the whole icon looks very empty. perhaps some text or textures applied could have worked better.

-the colours are quite washed out, and the picture is quite cluttered, which make it hard to see what's going on at a first glance.
-The cropping is unoriginal and doesn't draw the eye to any particular aspect of the icon. As well, the icon is rather busy and it takes a while to realize just what exactly is going on. The colouring is a bit too light - perhaps darkening it (especially on the skintones) would help?
-The coloring is washed out and dull and the image itself is too cluttered, making it hard for the eye to focus on what is happening in the picture.

-The font choice and text placement did not fit well in the icon, making the focus on the text rather than on the model of the icon.

-the colours are quite dull, and the huge font size of the text draws away from Yamapi's face.
-The picture is a bit too blurry, and the text is not easy to get, due to his color. Also, it's distracting, and the viewer would to focus on the text rather than the subject.
- the colouring makes yamapi looks washed out and the whole icon would have looked better if the image was slightly sharpened.

-The picture looks a bit crispy, and it's overall difficult to get who they are and what they're doing. But the text is nicely put.
-It seems a bit over-sharpened.
-The cropping is unoriginal and doesn't draw the eye to any particular aspect of the icon. As well, the icon is rather busy and it takes a while to realize just what exactly is going on. The colouring is a bit too light - perhaps darkening it (especially on the skintones) would help?
-The coloring is so bright and vivid that it makes the icon look oversharpened. With the coloring and sharpness, it makes it hard to read the text and see the faces of the subjects of the icon.
-The coloring for the icon makes the image look like it's not so clear.
-The subjects are over-sharpened and are unrecognizable. Not sure if the 'I'm trying to forget you' is a texture or actually part of the original image, either way it does not fit with the 'crack' theme; it's slightly depressing.
-The image of the icon was shrinked too much, itmade the icon look that it was sharpened too much.
