Episode 10 : PG-13 )
As the rest of the Arashi members started filing out of the building slowly, Johnny turned around to look at them from the elevator bank. His voice echoed off the silent walls, down the long hallway, “Tell Matsumoto to watch himself. And the rest of you, take good care of your reputations. If another scandal surfaces, you will be put on hiatus for an indefinite period of time!”
Before any of the members could protest, Johnny held up a hand, “That is my final decision.”
Toma finally snapped out of his shock, surprise and confusion and stepped forward, “Kitagawa-san… I… I have a…”
Johnny beckoned him with his finger, “Follow me to my office. You may ask your questions there and I’ll try to answer them…”
Toma gulped and looked at the members. His eyes lost a degree of warmth as he noticed that Jun was missing. Sighing softly, he followed Johnny into the elevator. The members looked at Toma with worry written all over their faces as the elevator doors closed.
Johnny, Toma and the guards rode up the elevator in silence. When they reached Johnny’s private office on the penthouse, Johnny told the guards to wait outside and led Toma inside. Taking a deep breath to calm his nervous heart, Toma walked in and closed the door behind him.
After a few minutes of silence, Toma spoke up, “Umm… Kitagawa-san…”
Johnny finally looked up to meet Toma’s eyes, “Yes Toma. Ask your questions.”
Gulping slowly, Toma asked, “Why me? We all assumed your successor would be…”
Johnny laughed softly, the laughter sending chills down Toma’s spine, “Do you really think I’d give my empire to an ancient pop idol? I’m a very selfish person Toma. Why would I want my company passing into the hands of a stranger?”
Toma frowned as he sank into a couch at the far end, “But… we thought… I mean… you don’t have any direct descendants… and we thought your niece would eventually…”
Johnny’s eyes turned to cold stone, “Ah yes… my niece… she is a good manager, but she is only my sister’s daughter. She will continue her employment at this company, however, I do not plan on passing my shares to her… that would give sole control of the company to my sister and I don’t believe that is wise…”
Toma sighed inaudibly, “Kitagawa-san… why would you think like that? Aren’t they your sole family? Why bring me into this…”
Johnny smirked at Toma’s questions, “No Toma. They aren’t my sole family. There is a deep dark secret in my past… would you like to know about it?”
Toma shook his head, “N-no… I believe secrets should stay … secret”
Johnny laughed coldly, “Oh, but this secret… you need to know. There aren’t many people privileged enough to know. However, you need to know about this since it affects you and will explain my decision to make you take over the running of the company…”
Toma’s puzzlement showed on his face, “Uh…”
Johnny smiled as he walked to a wall, pushed aside a portrait and opened up a safe. He reached into the dark depths and after moving some contents he pulled out an old, weathered and aging photo. He smiled at the photo, his face softening with love. He headed back to Toma and sat down next to him on the couch.
Handing the photo to Toma, Johnny asked, “Do you recognize this person?”
Toma’s eyes went wide; “Whoa… granny was so beautiful when she was young! Eh? Why do you have a picture of my grandmother?”
Johnny sighed softly, taking the photo back gently, “Umm… because… A long time ago, your grandmother and I were in love.”
Toma’s face twisted in disgust, “What…”
Johnny laughed at Toma’s expression, “We were young once upon a time, boy! We loved each other. We planned on marrying each other, but your grandmother’s father didn’t think I was suitable for her. Back then I had no social standing or power to stop him when your great-grandfather forced your grandmother to marry another man. Your grandmother gave birth to a boy 7 months into the marriage. Of course the boy’s official father is the man she was forced to marry; however, my blood flows in that baby.”
Toma looked confused at Johnny, “Eh? But… that would mean… my father…”
Johnny smiled again, “That would make your father my biological son, and you my biological grandson. I never loved any other woman like I loved your grandmother. I now have power and social standing, but your grandmother and I can never be together anymore. The least I can do is recognize my blood… even secretly… and pass on my legacy to proper heirs!”
Toma sat staring at the picture of his grandmother, “But… why me? Why not…father… or… or…someone else…”
“Because your father is a fool when it comes to management; the company will be in ruins within days if I let him take over,” Johnny sighed softly staring at the picture again, “If I could have married her back then, you’d have been groomed properly by now! Her father was a cruel man, separating us like that… it made me so bitter when she married, I couldn’t let anyone else be happy. That’s why the unspoken rule about no girls in JE. Of course when I heard that you like Shuichi’s daughter Mao, I thought about my days with your grandmother.”
Before Toma could speak up, Johnny continued, “Shuichi had already forbidden his daughter to never speak to you. He was going to force her to marry that… Matsu…never mind. What I mean is I don’t want you to go through the same heartache I went through when I lost your grandmother. Therefore by publicly announcing that you’ll be taking over the management eventually, I’ve made you worthy for Shuichi’s daughter! No one can say, my grandson is unworthy… and I will never let anyone come between you and your love… not even a pompous, arrogant actor!”
Toma took a deep breath and tried speaking again, “Uh… this is all a bit much to take in… but I…”
Johnny smiled patting Toma’s shoulder, “I understand. You take a day off and relax and absorb everything I’ve told you today. I’ll contact you again for a formal meeting between the families and we’ll take it from there. Now move along, I’ve got work to do…”
With those words, Johnny shooed Toma away from his office, leaving Toma stunned for a second time within a few hours. Toma had been unable to tell Johnny that he didn’t like any Mao. He sighed softly as he entered the elevators, massaging his temples gently, “I think I’m getting a headache!”
Jun had wandered the streets of Tokyo aimlessly. He had secretly hoped that Johnny would object to Toma and Mao dating. However, the announcement that morning crushed all his hope of ever making Toma his. Sighing softly he walked into a convenience store. His hopelessness had eventually given way to anger and by the time he walked to the counter with a bottle of wine, his blood was pounding in his ears. He glared at the clerk who happened to stare at him for too long and slammed a magazine on the counter featuring Toma.
“What are you staring at? Never seen a customer before?” Jun yelled at the frightened clerk. His anger boiled over when he was told the store only accepted cash. A vein popped up on Jun’s temple as he dug through his wallet to pay for his purchases. Cursing at the clerk, he finally grabbed his bottle of wine and magazine and stormed out of the store, knocking several racks of magazines and snacks on his way out.
He walked to a nearby park and finding himself a secluded bench, he started drinking the wine. Half a bottle of his wine was gone by the time he noticed that it was after dark and that Toma’s apartment building was only a few blocks away. Cursing at his brain for leading him there, he finished the rest of the bottle. He never even noticed the rain that pelted him. Jun stood staring at the picture of Toma in the magazine for a long time before sighing, “I guess I wasn’t good enough. Perhaps you want children to play with… I can’t give you children and she can. We could have adopted though…”
The thoughts sobered him up. He sighed and stared at the sky and blinked as rain fell into his eyes, “When did it start raining? And what time is it?”
Shivering at the chill that went down his body, he looked around the park. He could hear a clock strike midnight somewhere far away. Sneezing once, he looked around for shelter from the rain. Sighing in relief when he spotted a covered phone booth in the distance, Jun ran for it. As he approached the booth, he noticed that someone was already in there. He was hopping on his feet outside the booth wondering whether to find a different place or go in when he heard a knock on the glass door.
Blinking he looked up as the door opened to let him in. Groaning softly, he stepped inside and closed the door behind him. Trembling slightly, he removed his wet shirt and started squeezing the water out, “Thanks for letting me in…”
“It’s pouring outside…” the man spoke from behind him, his words slurred, the voice familiar.
Jun turned around slowly to meet Toma’s drunken gaze, “Oh… it’s … you.”
Toma sighed softly as he leaned against the metal wall, “Yeah, it’s me.”
They stared at each other in silence for a few minutes. When lightening struck a nearby tree, Toma whimpered softly, his body shivering violently.
Jun looked at the split tree and then back at Toma’s wet body, “You should get out of that shirt… its dripping wet,” he whispered as he placed his own wet shirt over the phone book.
Toma looked back at Jun with a frown. Jun held up his hand in defense, “I’m not coming onto you… you’re trembling and the wet shirt isn’t good…”
Looking into Jun’s eyes, Toma unbuttoned his shirt slowly. Once all the buttons were undone, he slid out of the shirt and let the shirt drop to the floor. Jun sighed softly, staring at Toma’s exposed shoulders and arms. His body trembled again, reacting to Toma’s closeness.
Toma leaned forward whispering against Jun’s ear, “You’re cold… perhaps if you take off the tank top… it might help…”
Jun shivered at Toma’s raspy voice against his ear, as he slowly raised the tank top over his head, “I could say the same to you…”
Toma moved back and looking at Jun’s bare chest, he took in a deep breath and removed his own tank top. Letting them drop to the floor, they stared at each other’s bodies hungrily. Panting softly, Jun lifted trembling fingers to touch Toma’s chest. He gasped as his fingers met with cold skin. Jun looked up into Toma’s eyes and spoke softly, his words barely heard over the rolling thunder, “You’re cold…”
Toma nodded his head moving closer to Jun, “Yes I am.”
Jun wrapped his arms around Toma’s waist and snuggled against him, “We should take off these pants… they’re wet… and it might help warm our bodies if we… umm…”
Toma smiled softly unbuckling Jun’s belt and sliding his pants, along with his boxers, to the floor. Jun sighed softly in relief as his wet pants were removed from his body. His hands moved over Toma’s jeans and unzipping them, he pushed them down to the floor. Kneeling in front of Toma, he helped Toma out of the jeans and stared at Toma’s crotch, his underwear hugging his parts closely. Jun looked up at Toma from his position and pulled on the elastic. At Toma’s nod, Jun removed the underwear and slowly stood up, his fingertips grazing against Toma’s body.
Trembling against the chill and the thunder, they wrapped their hands around each other. Their cold bodies warmed themselves up against each other. They hugged each other tightly, never wanting to let go.
Toma was the one who made the first move. He kissed Jun’s neck and licked Jun’s shoulder gently. Jun trembled again, snuggling closer to Toma, his fingernails raking Toma’s back. Panting softly, Jun kissed along Toma’s neck and nibbled along the corner of his lips. Toma parted his lips with a sigh and consumed Jun’s lips. Jun moaned into Toma, kissing him back hungrily. Their hands roamed over each other’s bodies, groping every single inch of flesh they could touch.
Panting softly they broke apart and stared into each other’s eyes. After a moment’s hesitation Toma spoke up softly, “Please…”
Jun nodded his head, his answer lost in the thunder, “One last time…”
Toma’s hand trailed down between their bodies and rested on Jun’s member. Stroking Jun gently, Toma whispered against Jun’s ear, “I want to be inside you…”
Jun gulped and nodded his head, his heart beating frantically in his chest, his fingers stroking Toma synchronously, “Facing you… or f-facing away?”
Toma nibbled on Jun’s earlobe as he whispered again, his fingers twisting around Jun’s base, “I want to watch you…”
Whimpering Jun wrapped his legs around Toma, his back firmly pressed against the tiny corner wall of the phone booth. Toma supported Jun’s weight and pressing him closer, he hesitated at Jun’s entrance, “I don’t have lube on me…do you?”
Jun shook his head, “No…I don’t…”
Toma looked worried, “What do we do now?”
Jun shook his head again and pressed his lips against Toma’s, “Please… take me! I’m sure I can handle…”
Toma frowned as he kissed Jun back. Sighing softly, he brought his hand back to Jun’s member and stroked him to pleasure. Not wanting to give up on this chance, Toma watched Jun’s face in pleasure. Jun’s moans sent shivers down Toma’s body. Panting softly, Toma pushed himself against Jun’s entrance as Jun threw his head back in pleasure.
Jun’s whimpers made Toma push himself in harder. As the resistance gave away, Toma found himself completely surrounded by Jun’s warmth. Jun’s eyes went wide as Toma entered him. The pain at the sudden intrusion overwhelmed him and brought him back from the brink of pleasure. Jun’s fingers dug into Toma’s shoulders drawing blood. Panting softly, he went still, looking at Toma.
Toma’s eyes were focused on Jun’s face. He held himself still inside Jun, his body reacting to every single movement Jun made. Not taking his eyes off Jun, he started pumping Jun’s member again. The pain subsided as the pleasure filled Jun again. As Jun’s body started accepting Toma’s length, he relaxed and threw his head back in pleasure again.
Moaning softly, Toma leaned into Jun and entered him in sync to his stroking fingers. Their moans mingled with each other and were drowned out by the pounding rain and thunder. Their cries of passion reverberated against the small enclosure as they spilled into each other.
As they slowly caught their breaths, Toma slid out of Jun slowly and Jun’s feet found solid ground gingerly. Panting softly, they stared at each other for a long moment, admiring each other’s body and face. As thunder roared again, Jun snapped out of it and started picking up the wet clothes littering the floor. He hissed softly as the cold material touched his heated body.
“They’re still wet…” Toma whispered as he touched his pants.
Jun nodded his head, eyes on the boxers he was wearing, “Yeah, but we can’t stay like this… I know it is past midnight and it’s raining heavily and there is little chance of people walking by, but it would be better … to be prepared… wouldn’t it?”
Toma smiled and nodding his head he bumped into Jun as he put on his clothes. Trembling at the cold shirt clinging to his hot body, Toma spoke softly, “Jun… about this morning’s announcement… I wanted to tell you that…”
Before Toma could finish speaking, his phone rang. Both Toma and Jun stared at the phone at their feet, the display reading “Inoue Mao - Ma-chan - calling”. Jun took a deep breath as he turned away from Toma. Lightening zipped across the sky, illuminating Jun’s sad and stricken face. Toma picked up the phone, turned it off.
“Jun… I…” Toma’s phone rang again.
Jun sighed softly, his back facing Toma, “It doesn’t look like the rain will stop anytime soon. If I run, I might reach the train station in 5 minutes. I might be able to catch the last train home…”
Without giving Toma a chance to protest, Jun opened the glass door and ran out into the pouring rain. His tears ran along his face mingling with the raindrops; thunder drowned out the screams of heartache and frustration.
