Mr. Bernhard's baby!
Today I saw JAKE JOSEPH Bernhard. He's very very cute.
It was a difficult birth, 22 hours, the baby's heart rate dropped a few times and was born with the umbillical cord around its neck.
Both mom and baby are now doing just fine. Dad's still a bit shaken up :)
In all the excitement i forgot to ask the important questions...what time? how large, etc. I'm sure we'll get updated soon.
I wanted to get a closer look, but as promised, there were a zillion relatives around. All of them thought it was very sweet that I came to visit.
It was strange to see Mr. Bernhard at the hospital, a place i consider more my turf. Strange but really fun and happy.
