The First View...
so we got to the dr's and we started right away. turned out i didnt drink enough water so they couldnt get a good view. they sent me back and made me drink 3 more huge cups of water. she's like, i can give you 10 minutes. OMG! it was much less then that because she realized she had another appointment so i at least drank another cup and a half. so back to the room i went and there it was. it still wasnt a great picture but we could see it much better. its in the right place and alive (those were her exact words...scary). then we heard the heartbeat. chris was at the end of the table so i really couldnt even see his face during the whole thing. its so surreal now, seeing it and hearing that heartbeat. even if it looks like an over sized hamster right now its still amazing!
had some other things planned for today but so far nothing has been accomplished because i fell asleep after chris left for work. but now im awake and ready to get my car washed and vacuumed and attempting to hit those stores for some christmas shopping. i always wait until last minute! tomorrow im taking my nana to the dr's so that day is pretty much shot. but its christmas break so its all good!
