The Clancys Generation 5.3
Sorry I haven't updated the Clancys in ages and I'm sorry that the update really shows that but I really needed to post this up so it won't take me another five months to update. >_>
Last time:
Headmaster visit
Roseanne got the Cooking Hobby Plaque
Wool had three kittens all named after types of footwear
Glottis passed away
Link became a teen
Raz got the Tinkering Hobby Plaque thus we got all twelve plaques!
Saria became a teen
She proceeded make moves on radiationpoison's Duffy Mercy
Then she started macking on needlecream's Thrush.
Beatrice died
Saria decided to ask one of her boys on a date to get out of the house
Now for those who remember that entry from five months ago, you might remember that I left the update on a cliffhanger over who Saria decided to go on a date...
The lucky boy is...
Duffy Mercy! He's so adorable with the perma-sad eyebrows. ^0^
And because I kind of forgot the commentary I had planned for the date, here's some date spam.

Midna don't you dare scare him, he's adorable and fragile. >:(
Since Link and Saria are teens now, I'm having them help out the folks at The Treasure Trove.
That is not to say that they aren't slacking off in their own objectives. Link's still working in the science career and Saria got a job in the music career.

Whoop, sorry Rosie! Hey after you take a bath, you know what would make you feel better?
Just go ahead and rub that dusty old lamp that's been lying around for the longest time.
She wished for Peace of Mind since I didn't think she was going to fill up that other bar or get her LTW anytime soon. >_>

Had Link and Saria drink Elixir when they were in the green because the teen life stage is way too damn long! DX
Ah it must be Men's Night in the Afterlife, we've got Tyler, Manny, and Heph out and haunting about.
And I guess Beatrice wasn't invit... wait a second it's light out! She should be back in the grave! O_o
No joke, Beatrice's ghost seriously just wandered around past 7:00 AM.
She did eventually return to her grave but it was still damn weird. O_o
Wool, Raz, and Rosie are now joining the Oldie ranks.
Still cute.
And Raz makes for one handsome future grandpa. <3
Later that night, Saria chats up boolpropbea's Cardnial. I'm really tempted to save him for the Red Gen heir. XD
Uh oh, I think he might've heard me.
Cardinial: I'm not going to be humiliated in front of tons of readers, I know how these things work, do not want! D8
Raz and Roseanne continue to try to make friends and makes things a little easier for our green heir. (By the way: the brunette talking to Raz is simgaroop's Bianca Broke and the brunette playing Myshuno with Rosie is pinkposeysims' Pearl June.)
Speaking of potential heirs... it's time for Link to grow up (FINALLY).
Again I think he's mostly his dad but with Roseanne's nose. Saria's not much better with the genetic diversity. Ah well, at least he's still handsome. :\
So is Link our heir...
Nope. I couldn't really get too attached to him, plus I have to admit that I'm getting a bit tired of all the male heirs. I don't think I've had one since Maya back in Gen 2.
So Link moves out on his own and I can focus on Saria our Gen Green Heiress!
Saria's LTW is to make 100,000 simoleons and I think that selling stuff like paintings and workbench items counts toward it so get to work missy!
Converted Maya and Heph's old room (which hadn't been used in a long time) to a workshop room.
After some thinking I decided not to grow up Saria's high school sweethearts, Duffy and Thrush. I've still got plently adult PT sims that I want to add to a family. :3
So nothing much happened between then and now so let's take one last look at Saria as a teen...
And here she is as a lovely adult. :)

By the way currently in the game, Saria's already bagged her future spouse and she's already preggers but I can't really think of any yellow video game characters. All I can come up with Daisy (from Mario) and Pikachu (what he/she/it's technically a video game character, they count) so if anyone's got a suggestions I'm all ears.
