Good things. While organizing my yarn (yes, it had to be done) and talking on the phone with Phil last night, I found the makeup bag that I had lost in November/early December. I can't remember if I worte about it, but I was quite upset because a ring that my dad had given me - one that I've had for a decade - was in the bag. I was quite sure that the ring was gone forever and I'm pleased as punch that it's not.
I think we've worked out some of the logistics of Phil's visit for the play. The only question now is if I'm going to have enough time to clean V's room, or if I'm going to be sleeping on the couch. I'll have a better grasp on that next week when I've only got one pick-up rehearsal.
I went out last night and bought the hook-and-eyes necessary to repair the cook's costume that was broken during our dress rehearsal Saturday. I also found a nifty photo album/scrapbook in a cool red/white/black plaid that would be awesome for MBPsi.
Sunday I went through my clothes (the first iteration, as I call it) and got rid of two huge trash bags full of them. This was the easy part. I was sorting out all of the clothes that were too young for me, or just didn't fit right. My mom knows someone at SERVE that has a sixteen year old daughter for whom they'd be perfect. It's only going to get harder from here, though. The rest of my clothes I genuinely like and can use - I just don't have room to store them. That may change, though, as my mom is trying to convince my dad to engineer a very heavy-duty clothes rack, as I have no closet. Heck, I don't even have a door.
Tonight I have play practice - just a run-through with no costumes, only shoes. Hopefully I can get out of there early. Hopefully.
I guess I'll be doing OpGrad on Saturday. Maybe. Maybe Sunday. I guess it depends on how my schedule shapes up.
Something depressing. In the last month (read: right after I got back from MI until now) I have put 3400 miles on my car. That's a little much, especially considering the price of gas. I think I should invest in a personal helicopter and just fly into work. Or, I could just move to Maryland, but I've been holding off on that for several reasons. I don't know, but I'm sure it will work itself out in the end.
