i'm being naughty
I posted my resume on Monster on Sunday. I know it's stupid to do, especially if Geico finds it and they know I'm looking for another job, but I'm sorry I've had it.
I'm telling you, this is the best website. I've gotten 5 emails and 2 phone calls with people offering me interviews. I've got a job interview on Tuesday with Eastern General Insurance. It's a smaller company based out of Rochester but with some growing offices in Buffalo.
The girl I talked to was nice. I did bring up salary though, because I don't want to waste anyone's time and I'm not willing to take much of a pay cut at this point.
She said that there isn't a general starting salary and that it is based on the interview and experience level. She still wanted me to go in for the interview, so what the hell? I really don't have anything to lose.
In other news I bought the new Tori Amos CD. It's pretty good, reminds me of Scarlett's Walk. Only one disappointment. The duet with Damien Rice. I love Damien Rice and couldn't wait to hear this song. Well, has anyone heard Tori's duet of "Past the Mission" with Trent Reznor. That is exactly what this song is. You wouldn't even know it's Damien Rice. But what are you gonna do? It's still a good CD.
