piggy flu.
Im waiting on news on if Evan has become yet another confirmed case of the swine flu. Honestly, I thought this swine flu business was hype/fear based and believed that it was just like the "normal" flu. Now, Im not posting this to feed into any fear--but let me tell you, the swine flu is some serious shit.
Granted, when Evan does become ill, we have other factors to watch for/take care of because of his disability, but I've never seen him this ill from any normal flu like I did yesterday. My little boy couldnt even lift his head up. The swine flu knocks you on your ass 100x worse than any other flu and I can now confirm that.
The good news is that he seems to be getting back on his feet today and recovering at my mom's house but what I saw yesterday was not pretty. So, again, Im not trying to feed any fear out there--but people...take care of yourselves right now. You DO NOT want to catch that strain of the flu.
