Diane Sawyer will be my new BFF
Good Morning America will be in Milwaukee to interview me later next week. They will air our story sometime the week of the 18th and may fly Evan and I out to NY for a live shot. I did my interview with the local media, Channel 12, last night and she spent 2.5 hrs at my house. This is a VERY rare thing for media people to spend so much time with their interviewees as they are normally in/out in less than an hour. Very impressed with the time that she spent on us and how sweet she was. Big props to Joyce Garbaciak. Seriously.
So yeah. I am completely overwhelmed and kinda in shock that this is all happening---my dreams are coming true. My dream of speaking out is coming to head and its just so surreal. sigh..
This is proof that you can ALWAYS turn something tragic into a positive thing. Always. Remember that.
