Pals. (i apologize if you've seen this already ...im sending it to everyone)
I just got the following email from a dear old friend and I need everyone to step in on a 'call for action'. Apparently, there was software that was created by some company and approved by Apple for the use on iPhones that simulated shaking a baby until it died. Yes, this is true. This is disgusting and horrific and while Apple eventually removed the software, and the link to the software creator has been taken offline temporarily, stuff like this should NOT be overlooked nor forgotten. Apple needs to take more responsibility for their oversight here and I am asking all of you, if you are able , to bombard Apple's website or email expressing your feelings (hopefully disgust) regarding them allowing something like this on their hardware--even for one day. Please and Thanks .....Jenny (mom to Evan, shaken 5/8/01)

Hi Jenny,
Hope this finds you well.
I wish I had something better to send you today, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of this article.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/163717/baby_shaker_app_approved_then_removed.html I wonder if any organizations you are involved with would be willing to openly condemn the maker of the software Siskaloft (
http://www.sikalosoft.com/). It's a great opportunity to bring this important topic back to the forefront of peoples minds.
For that matter, someone should write Apple and ream them a new one. Their approval process for iPhone software has some serious bugs. While it is true that they caught and ultimately corrected their inventory of available software to not include this program, they should never have allowed it to begin with.
Hope you and Tiny E are doing good.
Love you guys,
