Oh, Anon-BB!! I don't think I'm meant to bake rugelach. They looked okay out of the oven, but then I tried to take them off the pan, and the filling had set and they were too sticky! I was nearly heartbroken, but I scraped and scraped and they eventually came off, almost none the worse for wear.

(pics here) Batches 2 & 3 went much better (the bottoms actually stayed with the rest of the pastries), though this is a very sticky recipe. :) Plus, there is a drastic size variance between some pieces and others. No Quality Control in *my* kitchen!
(Also, I may have licked the apricot preserves off the spoons before throwing everything in the sink.)
