All This and a Rain Barrel

So, on Friday, Mom signed up for a drawing at the fair. Mom won a rain barrel. So, she went in this morning to pick it up. Now I have to modify the gutter downspout for the barrel

Cool, so... what do you do with the water collected in a rain barrel?

Water the garden, wash the car, stuff like that. Not for drinking, though.

Probably not without boiling and running it through a filter I imagine.
