"It's time we saw a miracle..."
Had a rather sluggish visitor on the cherry tree yesterday... I even reached out and nudged him a bit, no response. =o Ah well; at least I didn't have to worry about him taking off while I went to get my camera. XD;
I have this weird thing about moths... when they're still, I can look at them, even touch them, but once they start fluttering around idiotically, I get twitchy. I think it's how blind they seem to be, and their total willingness to bounce off your face, get stuck in your hair, etc., etc. X___x
Detail.. big moths always look like they're wearing cozy fur coats. XD; And ANTENNAE! Wow!
He appeared to be missing part of his right front leg. =\ Wonder how that goes for a bug..
More facts about luna moths if you're curious, I know I was. XD; I'm guessing this fellow was newly hatched from his cocoon and was drying out a bit..
