So, this is my first ever Non-Thanksgiving. For those of you who have not put 2 and 2 together, Thanksgiving is an AMERICAN holiday; thus, I would not be celebrating it in Brasil. No, seriously, people (in America) were like "oh, you're away from your family for Thanksgiving" No, I'm not. I'm away from Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving. Haha. Anyway, as I promised Toni, I must post a thankful list. Here goes, I'll try to keep it to the most important...
I am thankful for:
My family. Truly, a more loving, funny, supportive, and all-around awesome family does not exist.
The Ponce Family (Minha Familia Segunda) They are my saving grace here in Brasil
New and old friends (the difference btwn silver and gold as they say, but both are valuable)
Music...couldn't live w/o it (In whose heart there is no song/to him the road is weary and long)
O amor de Deus, meu Senhor...(praise Him on through)
Last, but not least, my laptop. Though we have a love-hate relationship, I couldn't live without it.
Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope you all remebered the good things in life, thanked God for them, and then ate enough for yourselves and me!
Beijos pra todos
Jen
P.S. Thing I am least thankful for: For it's constant failing--the postal system.
