it took me a few moments to figure out nothing dire was occurring, too. and i confess to a lack of dry-eyedness myownself. i kept expecting the next one to pop up, the usual season-ending grabber/teaser. but nothing. perhaps they've not found the next one. it might be cool to see him with a girl, having to explain the universe the way incorrigible tv 12-yr-olds force you to.
