my husband is awesome
why? because he calls me and tells me i need to start watching TRUE BLOOD. which i had the first 2 seasons of but never watched. apparently he'd taken them to work with him and watched them over the last few days when he's been stuck on the ship doing NOTHING, and he LIKES it. so i started watching it late last night and was almost up all night watching the first season. way to go, Anthony.
this is just another show that we like together. i got him into GLEE, which is fabulous. he always wants to watch the new episodes with me, and unlike many of my friends significant others, he actually ENJOYS it. he even asked me to make him a cd of some GLEE tunes to take back to work with him!!! words do not describe how much I ADORE THIS MAN. <3 <3.
about 2 weeks now until we move to Portsmouth. i can't wait. this afternoon i shot across the street to get a thing of Volvic Touch of Strawberry, (they didn't have Touch of Blackcurrant), and this disgusting man with no front teeth who looked like he hadn't bathed in a week leered at me (imagine a slight cockney accent) "'Ello little girl, you want some of this, eh?".
.. it was awful. i rolled my eyes and skirted past him, but what i was really thinking was "no, i don't want any, and if you aren't careful, you'll be pulling my keys out of your balls", but of course, it would be ME who would get in trouble instead of him. even though he leered at said awful things to me. ew.
can't wait til we're in a better neighbourhood and town. Plymouth is for the dogs. if it weren't for the Hoe area, it would be an absolute shithole. *sigh*.
i read the entire HUNGER GAMES series in 3 days this week. it was great, except i found it hard to get into the third book, the first two were so addictive. im glad it ended at 3 books though. kept me thinking for ages. last week i read HUNGER by Jackie Morse Kessler on the train. im trying to figure out what to read next. alot of my book collection will be packed up next week so i've got to keep out some gooduns. :)
so happy my husband is coming home either tonight or tomorrow morning. he''s been gone for two weeks, and now he'll be home for the next two weeks plus the extra bank holiday. woot! and then we move. :)
i can't wait to get to London again for some great mexican food and time with my family, though. <3 this will be made much easier by us moving 3 hours closer, yay! 90 minutes by car and train now!! woooo!!!
