Ha ha  I can't believe that Little Miss Anti-social is raising such a social child.  He is good for me, forcing me to get out and be amongst real people.

Today he had his first swimming lesson - his first experience of being in a pool - and he loved it, thank goodness!  I had a great time too, although it was all slightly surreal, especially the point where we were swaying in the water singing Twinkle Twinkle at the tops of our lungs.  I know where we'll be spending all our spare time this summer though!  We're going to buy him a wading pool for his birthday, so maybe we'll just end up in the backyard together, sucking on iceblocks, but either way I can see myself spending all summer in my togs.

Then we had Playgroup, and I wasn't looking forward to it because we were both so tired, but we went and then suddenly I realised that I had accidentally enjoyed myself and half the day was gone.

Got home to find a million messages on the machine, one of which was a request for me to do three radio ads that start tomorrow!  So we headed out again and Harry sat and giggled with the lovely sales rep while I whizzed through the ads.  Oh I love, love, love radio!

And now we're at Mum and Dad's house for a few days, and are going to Dorothy the Dinosaur tomorrow morning!  Harry, of course, doesn't have a clue, but I am so excited for him.  He loves music and dancing and kids, so all three together are going to be WOW!  I know it's nauseating to most people who don't have kids, and must sound like the biggest bore, but my greatest joy these days is watching him have fun and learn new things.

It's my birthday next week.  I am 30!
