Day 16 -- One of your favourite classical songs
Well, I'm not a classical music aficionado. I'd avoid it at all costs if I had a choice. It's always been stuffy, boring, music to sleep by.
That said, there are two very large exceptions. One reminds me of Christmas:
Palchebel's Canon

This song takes a little explaining why I like it. As a child, I read a book about a girl who was born with a deformed leg who went on to learn how to dance ballet. Since I was born with a rather odd right leg, I was fascinated and ever since then, ballet became a thing I wanted desperately to learn.
Ultimately, I was unsuccessful and found belly dancing more to my liking, but while I was in my obssessive ballerina phase, my father would put this record on and we would leap and prance in all kinds of exaggerated faux ballerina poses. To this day this song never fails to put a smile on my face, as it brings back all kinds of memories of dancing and laughing with my father.
